Book Now has changed. When a broker you already work with posts a directly bookable load, you can lock it in from DAT without making a call. No redirect to an outside site. No waiting for a callback. The booking completes inside DAT, and the broker's system updates automatically.
What it does
When a broker has pre-approved your MC, loads they post as directly bookable will show a Book Now button on the load board. Clicking it confirms the booking on the spot. You don't leave DAT, and you don't need to call or email to finalize.
Loads stay live-synced. If a load is covered or cancelled before you book it, it comes off the board. You won't chase a load that's already gone.
Why it matters
Phone and email booking takes time you don't always have. If you're running a tight schedule, calling on a load means it might be gone before you get confirmation. Book Now lets you secure loads from brokers you already trust without waiting on anyone to call you back.
Requirements
- DAT load board access
- A pre-approved MC in a participating broker's network (currently available with select McLeod beta brokers)
How to get started
Nothing to set up. If your MC has been pre-approved by a beta broker, you'll see the Book Now option on their eligible loads when you search the DAT load board. Look for loads marked as directly bookable and click Book Now to confirm.
